Azza's Hour Of Power:
"Misdiagnosed" - Harry Hookey
Welcome to a special Azza’s Hour Of Power I’m your host Aaron Gillin. Today on the show we will be focusing on the debut album of Australian musician Harry Hookey called “Misdiagnosed”. Harry Hookey started off in a family covers band with his Dad and two brothers in their hometown of Gippsland until he decided to cut his teeth as a solo musician busking on the streets of Melbourne. Harry would then go on to release an EP entitled “Old Noise” which featured the single “Don’t You Ever Treat Me Like A Fool” and an earlier version of song “Misdiagnosed”. Sometime after the release of the 6 track EP Harry entered Nash Chambers' Foggy Mountain Studios with the intention of recording a bunch of demos but the tracks came together so easily that he decided after the first session to record an album instead. “Misdiagnosed” was released on April 25 and features the title track along with Harry’s first single “Man On Fire” plus “Sometimes”, “Come And Go”, “Lovin’ Touch” and “Rolling Wheel”. Now to start the show is the album’s fantastic opening track “Man On Fire”.
